Service Day 2017

March 2nd 2017 was Service Day, a day run by students, and guided by teachers. Service day is a tradition at Miami Country Day school for students to give back to their community by performing different acts of community service. All projects were organized and lead by students, and each student, along with some teachers, participated in two projects.

Projects included creating arts and crafts and playing sports with children, making blessing bags for the homeless, sorting through clothes and food for people in need, and spending time with Buddies of the Best Buddy program. Overall, it was a great day filled with with kindness, compassion, and care.
