Melissa Benedek is a sophomore and this is going to be her tenth year at Miami Country Day School. A classical violin player since she was six years old, Melissa plays for the Early Bird Orchestra and is a member of the Contemporary Music Ensemble (CME). She likes to help others with community service, mostly outside of school such as volunteering on mission trips in the summer. In her future, Melissa hopes to study musical therapy and help disabled individuals.
