Flagler College, Dartmouth and University of Miami will all have one thing in common next year: former Spartan athletes will be playing on each of their teams!

On Wednesday, the MCDS community was very excited to have three senior student athletes sign to play NCAA sports. Kian Huyer-Anderson committed to play Division II baseball at Flagler College. Asha Taylor will play Division I basketball at Dartmouth College and Austin Pollak committed to Division I baseball at the University of Miami.

Both Austin and Kian have been playing Varsity baseball since they were in 7th grade and both served as team captains. Asha joined the Spartan line-up in girls’ basketball two years ago. The three athletes were accompanied by their college counselors, families, and coaches in the senior circle as we celebrated their dedication, commitment and hard work. Congratulations, Austin, Asha, and Kian!
