The Girls Varsity Basketball team seems as strong as ever, despite the loss of some key players who had graduated and a whole group of new recruits.  On Thursday, February 15, they beat Westminster Academy in the Regional Semi-Finals, 69-31. Koi Love led the way with 11 points, 5 steals, and 4 assists, Aasiya Berry had 9 points and 4 rebounds, Maria Alvarez added 8 points, 3 rebounds, 4 steals, and 5 assists, Asha Taylor had 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, and Emani Theodule and Sydney Shaw each had 8 points. The girls will travel to The Benjamin School on Tuesday at 7pm in the Regional Finals. The winner advances to the State Final Four on Wednesday, February 28^th in Lakeland.
